Inaugural First Post (BL Day 1 - Day 4)

So, I've decided to record down every step of the way in my recovering journey of Music. And without further ado, here's a RE-POST of the past one week (prior to setting this blog page):

5/7/11 Day 1:

Started practicing chromatic scale @60bpm as per joonhui's advise. 1note/click to 2notes/click. Increased to 63bpm after 30mins or so.

6/7/11 Day 2:

Slow and boring process. Started from 70bpm to 72bpm with varieties of chromatic patterns. Thats it for today. Rest. http://twitpic.com/5m1lnb

7/7/11 Day 3:

went back to 60bpm but with 4notes/click. Still using varieties of chromatic patterns. Really challenging to hit every note cleanly and on click. Stopped after 15mins.

8/7/11 Day 4:

too distracted to practise. Forgot to bring back phone charger and cant use metronomeonline.com. To keep myself interested, went and learned to play super mario level 4(dungeon level) theme by ear and from memory. I think its in major scale but not sure what mode. I'm guessing mixolydian? Lolxxx.
